Starting Salary: $70,000 - $88,000 (depending on experience)

Job Summary:The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for all Corporate accounting activities; performing a wide range of accounting related duties on a professional level. The key responsibilities for this role is to plan, organize, direct, and control the financial affairs of the Corporate Division. The Corporate Accounting Manager will prepare, analyze, and interpret accounting records, financial statements, and develop annual budgets and forecasts. Other responsibilities will include providing data and information to business leaders, allowing them to make the best decisions for the business. The Corporate Accounting Manager is a key member of the Finance Leadership Team; therefore the integrity of the work is critical. This position displays an expert knowledge of accounting practices and assists in achieving all corporate accounting objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:* Prepare consolidated financial statements.
* Perform month-end and year-end closing.
* Maintain accountability of the General Ledger.
* Provide financial reporting and associated management support.
* Ensure the integrity of the standard accounting practices and perform updates as needed.
* Assist in the year-end audit.
* Drive the standardization of reporting and financial processes across the organization.
* Perform bank covenant compliance reporting.
* Assist with review and preparation of budget reports and forecasts as well as financial statements
* Ensure deadlines on projects and with assigned tasks are met as assigned by the Corporate Division Controller.
* Participate in ERP implementations as a key representative from the business process – finance environment.
* Provide management, mentorship, and development of the Corporate Accounting staff.
* Ensure the compliance of policies and procedures are being enforced.
* Seek out opportunities to grow and take on additional responsibilities.
* Apply knowledge and experiences to enhancement the current practices and procedures within Accounting.
Requirements:
* Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Preference will be given to master’s degree.
* A CPA certification is required, or proof of candidacy will be considered with completion in first 12 months of hire.
* At least 5 years of experience in a finance role, precious accounting experience is preferred.
* Must have a basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statements.
* Previous experience working within SAP is preferred. Other ERP systems will be considered.

* Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
Physical Demands:The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Travel: This position does require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
